Happy 4th of July!!!

We had a fun weekend with the Wiggins family in Louisiana at Papaw Dave & Mimi-isha's B&B.

We found an old tricycle that Drew fell in love with.

Catching Up on June

As in any house with two under the age of 4, things in the Wiggins' house have been a bit chaotic for us. That said, here is a sampling of the fun we've had in the past month.

Bubble Baths

(It's going to take me awhile to get back into the swing of things, but I'll do my best to slowly get caught up and do better from here on out!)

We decided to pull out the bubbles for bath time last night. The last time we did bubbles in the bath, Josh wasn't too sure about it, but tonight he had a blast. Such cute kids!

Happy Anniversary!!

Amber,
The past 8 years have been a wonderful journey. I love seeing you with our boys and the way you take care of our home. I know things aren't always easy, but I always know that together we can get through anything. I love you more today than I did 8 years ago, and I can't wait to see where our life together takes us.
Love always,
Russell

We knew this day would come...

Josh is walking!!!! He's been so close for so long and finally this week he figured it out and there's no turning back. Here's a video we captured last night to document and share with all of you. Enjoy!

Updated posts

In case you didn't notice, scroll down or check the archives on the side, I've updated the blog with some past posts. If you go all the way back into February you can find Drew's birthday pictures and then there are several new posts from the beginning of April. Since this blog serves multiple functions (keepsake pictures, sharing with family, and general cuteness) I thought you might like to know!

Josh's Barnyard Bash Birthday Party

For Josh's birthday party we did a farm theme. I found some really cute napkins online (Barnyard Bash) and decided to make it our theme. I looked online for cake ideas and found an adorable one that I replicated. I'm really proud of it! We were joined by Gigi & Grandpa Randy, Grandma Joyce & Grandpa Jack, and the Spradleys. We had planned to be outside for most of the party, but the weather didn't cooperate. We still ended up grilling lunch and were very thankful for our wonderful covered porch!

The party set-up
We got Josh his own blue chair (now we have matching ones) - now we just have to work on teaching him to SIT in it, not stand or jump!
Opening presents
The shoes sure are tasty (and they're awfully cute too!)
Kangaroo from Auntie Randi (she brought it back from her recent trip to Australia!)
Josh chilling out opening his presents
Josh's new lawnmower (yep, we have 2 of these now too)

(Not much of a picture - I'm glad we celebrated with cake on his actual birthday, much better response! With other kids at the party he wasn't the center of attention and didn't feel much need to impress)
